While in Copenhagen last week one of the things I did was to visit Copenhagen Zoo. Every year in Copenhagen zoo the animals eat a total of:

20 000 kg fish
25 000 kg meat
46 000 mice and rats
20 000 eggs
100 000 kg concentrates
350 000 hay
50 000 kg carrots
250 kg raisins
500 kg sun flower seed
260 kg mealworms
55 000 grasshoppers
80 kg honey

Plus huge quantities of fresh fruit and vegetables.
